My name is Steve. I'm a husband, a father, a grandfather, and a general smart-ass. In my former life, I owned several welding supply stores. In my former-former life, I was a biologist. Now, I watc... um, "help" my wife run a B&B while maintaining a growing list of hobbies, activities, pass-times, and involvements.

Through it all, I've followed my passion for knowledge, and then forced that knowledge upon anyone within earshot. What I lack in knowledge, I make up for with conviction, earning me the moniker, "AskStevedotCom".

My daughter thought it would be a funny and fitting gift to give me a blog whereby I could extend my answer-giving gift to the rest of the world, unfettered by simple geographical proximity. She may very well rue the day.

Things you should know about Steve:
